Refresh & Schedule Datasets
Keep your data fresh with manual refreshes and automatic schedules in Tepun AI Report Builder.
Manual Refresh
- Open the Dataset — Navigate to the dataset detail page
- Click Refresh — Trigger an immediate data refresh
- Wait for Completion — Progress indicator shows refresh status
- View Updated Data — Fresh data now available in preview and all reports
Scheduling Automatic Refresh
- Open the Dataset — Navigate to the dataset
- Click Schedule — Open scheduling configuration
- Enable Schedule — Toggle the schedule on
- Set Frequency:
- Hourly: Every hour or specific hours
- Daily: Once per day at specified time
- Weekly: Specific days and time
- Monthly: Specific day of month
- Set Time and Timezone — Choose when refresh should run
- Configure Notifications — Optional email alerts on success/failure
- Save Schedule — Activate automatic refresh
Best Practice: Schedule refreshes during off-peak hours to minimize database load. Tepun reports will automatically keep your dashboards current.
